In the last year despite Covid and Brexit the property market has remained resilient and grown beyond expectation.

Since January 2020 we have seen a sustained growth in the property market. We saw this pre-pandemic and associated it with pent up demand following BREXIT.

With the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, announcing a stamp duty holiday until 31st March 2021 on purchases up to £500,000 we are expecting an increase in demand for properties and an increase in transaction levels generally.

Not all estate agents are equal! What does this mean?

 There are a myriad of agents out there offering varying levels of service. From the very basic online agent offering a flat fee to list a property and you do all of the work to the high end agents offering a highly personalised and specific service.  There is something for everyone. What level of service you require will depend on your circumstances and how much time and effort you wish to expend.

There have been many speculations as to where property prices and demand will be after lockdown. Having had plenty of time to follow the news and listen to experts on podcasts and webinars we are feeling very confident for the future.
